Dear SIDM Colleagues and Friends:
SIDM recently received an award from PCORI (The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute) to host a series of listening sessions on the use of telemedicine for the purpose of diagnosis. While the framing for this project is the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, please note that our focus is on diagnosis, broadly, not on the diagnosis of the COVID virus itself.
We are seeking the following types of participants for the listening sessions. [Please DO NOT respond to this email; please send your nominations, with their contact information, to Suz.Schrandt@Improvediagnosis.org or graber.mark@gmail.com.]
- Clinicians who are using telemedicine for diagnosis.
- Individuals responsible for establishing and using telemedicine in small and large clinical practices (anywhere from 50+ clinical staff to fewer than 3 clinical staff).
- Individuals responsible for the telemedicine programs at small and large hospitals (anywhere from 500+ beds to fewer than 100 beds).
- Individuals from telemedicine companies.
You are also very welcome to volunteer yourself for any of these categories.
Thank you so much for your contributions!
